The mystery that is Giles

There's a certain mystery I find when I look at pieces by Giles (Deacon). With a little research I found Giles is a young designer whose training includes work with Bottega Veneta, Gucci, and even CD Designer is listed on his resume'. What caught my eye about Giles was the black lipstick I saw everywhere which was from his 2008 collection. With a collection so dark, mysterious and structured I assumed his Spring 2009 line would be very similar but to my surprise I see he is a dynamic designer who has incorporated a few of the same mysterious and dark elements mixed into a line that is also full of color and fun. Giles has captured my eye and I presume I will be keeping very close tabs on his future creations.
