You Go Curl (Solange)

 The "You Go Curl" series is an attempt to highlight all of the natural do's Black women are now sporting. It's been about 3months now that I've been growing my perm out and let me tell you something, this transition phase is NO fun.

Seems like yesterday Solange cut all her hair off and now it is so beautifully full and curly. I take pleasure in highlighting her bold actions and self-loving beauty by taking a stand with her hair. Black imagery showing self-love is something Black folks have struggled with for years, and it's great to see someone in the Hollywood limelight embrace their natural.
