Meaning of the term 'BEAT'

Beat = Make-Up
Big Beat = Lots of make-up
Little Beat = Subtle make-up

A term often used within the performing arts realm and/or the realm of photography. Big Beat does not just mean bright colors, you can also have Big Beat using all neutrals. As long as you have a 'full face' on, that's beat and if it's EXTRA full... then you know you have what?! BIG BEAT

& btw, big beat is not a good look unless you're on a stage, in a circus or about to pose in an (Alexander) McQueen spread.
