Past Women of Distinction honorees include Congresswomen Maxine Waters and Diane Watson (Ret.), Actress and Talk Show Host Holly Robinson Peete, News Reporter Beverly White, LA City Controller Wendy Greuel, Bank Executive and Chairperson Maria Contreras Sweet and Dr. Ruth Creary.

Jason Katims, Creator and Executive Producer of NBC's hit new show Parenthood, and
the female cast of Parenthood, including Monica Potter (who will also be strutting on the runway in the fashion show.)
In addition to recognizing powerful women in our community, guests will enjoy a designer shoe and handbag auction featuring the latest designs from Stuart Weitzman, Michael Kors, Burberry, Prada, Tory Burch, Trina Turk, and a host of major international fashion houses. You will also be treated to a designer fashion show with celebrity and guest models. Last year "America's Next Top Model" Winner and Actress Eva Marcille and Emmy-Award winning Talk Show Host Dr. Lisa Masterson wowed the crowd as they strutted Tory Burch’s summer collection.
All proceeds from the event will benefit Special Needs Network’s parent advocacy mentor programs and Camp JPAC – the only summer inclusion camp in South Los Angeles for kids with autism and related disabilities and their siblings.
