Zuhair Murad is the man behind the stitch. At N.Y.C's recent premiere for the film Cadillac Records, Beyonce' Knowles who plays the great Etta James is seen wearing one of Murad's beautiful creations from his Fall/Winter '08 line. Visit his website and the dress is labeled, "SS 5." The StylEdit fell in love with quite a few of his pieces but the top 3 were "SS 3", "SS 4" & of course "SS 5." Murad has 2 atelier's (fashion work/showroom), one located in Beirut and one in Paris with a 3rd atelier opening also located in Paris. Murad has had many celebrities frolick in his for lack of a better word, ridiculous (in a great way) creations but I suspect Zuhair Murad will be getting a lot more views and glances due to Mrs. Carter's arrival in the beautiful "SS 5."
