Worth found his way towards his claim to fame after working with drapery in many draperies and after moving to Paris was it when he realized his calling and contribution to not just fashion, but to art as well. Having created some of the world's first dresses and gowns influenced by fashion techniques mixed with a costume-like aesthetic, Worth created an artform to be followed and swooned after for centuries to come.
